On February 9th 2024 the Indian Government announced Bharat Ratna award to former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao. Mr. Rao is recognized as the architect of liberalization of the Indian economy, which has fueled incredible economic growth during the last 3 decades. Bharat Ratna is the highest civilian award in India.
