Spreading the message of Equality and Service – Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji visits metro Detroit

Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, the founder of Jeeyar Educational Trust (JET USA) and VT SEVA (Volunteering Together for Service) with several chapters in America visited metro Detroit on July 13th.  The visit energized the volunteers of the organization. With the message of “Equality” and “Service” the local Detroit chapter has been engaged in community service for several years. Last year, VT Seva organized 65 charitable projects in Michigan. 

Services in the areas of food donation, sports, health care, disaster recovery and youth empowerment have touched thousands of Michigan residents. In addition to hundreds of adults, there are 170 plus youth volunteers in Michigan. 

Kudos to the organization and its dedicated volunteers for making a difference to thousands of Michigan residents. 

Swamiji attended a special event at a church in Northville. He met with several invited community leaders and answered questions from youth as well.
