Memorial Day 2023 – a day to remember the American heroes

Let us pause for a moment to express our remembrance and gratitude to thousands of American heroes who sacrificed their lives this great nation.  Let us keep the families of these soldiers, who made the ultimate sacrifice, in our thoughts and prayers.  Their sacrifice is the reason why America is the world leader today.

In America, the last Monday of every year is observed as Memorial day. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day to honor and mourn those who died while serving in the U.S. military. Many volunteers place American flags on the graves of military personnel in national cemeteries. Memorial Day is also considered the unofficial beginning of summer in the United States.  Let us hope for a safe and enjoyable summer for all.
