To
celebrate the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in a unique way, RaagaBeats and MirayaFit are presenting to you a musical drama called Shrimant Yogi - Raja Shivchhatrapati - based on Chh. Shivaji Maharaj. RaagaBeats was formed in 2020 during the peak pandemic time, and the group has been involved since
then in various musical events including Marathi, Hindi and classical music. Mukta Joshi founded MirayaFit in 2016 with sheer passion for dance & fitness. A trained classical dancer & NASM certified personal trainer, Mukta left the corporate
world of 12 years behind to spread the joy of dance and wellness.Sagar Vaidya, Music Arranger opined that the “younger generation living here in America have started to ask questions about who our great warriors were and why they are so significant even after 400 years today”. He further added that recreating the narrative
into a visual landscape would be close to reading books about Shivaji Maharaj and his great warriors.
The thematic drama is conceptualized and directed by Sayali Vaidya and is written by Jyoti Soman and Amit Shri Deshpande. It's an impossible task to cover everything from Shiv-Charitra in 2 hours, so the team has come up with a few important events of
his extraordinary times. The storyline will showcase Maharaj from his childhood to his coronation ceremony. This also features great warriors such as Bajiprabhu Deshpande, Jiva Mahala etc.
The team has created an immersive experience filled with action, drama, very well-known songs by the musicians and foot tapping dance sequences by a very talented dance group. The event boasts of an apt narration telling some interesting stories in the
background. These sequences revolve around the extraordinary times of Maharaj. Not to miss – children! The highlight of the musical dance drama are its children who have selflessly committed their time to the project. Appealing to all age groups,
the narration, scenes, and dancers are all interwoven beautifully with action sequences and live music.
Do not miss this fabulous event, brought to you by an extremely talented set of creative
power. All CDC guidelines and protocols will be followed.
